Developed by Robert Bahar and IDA in partnership with FWD-Doc

FWD-Doc is honored to have worked with Robert Bahar on the accessibility portion of his updated documentary budget template and schedules.

These templates provide filmmakers with a much needed guide on how to build accessibility into their films from pre-production through to exhibition and distribution. You can read Robert’s important article and find the templates linked below.

“As the documentary community strives toward greater diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility, there is an increasing recognition that accessibility must be included in plans for all documentaries, not just projects relating to disability. This removes barriers so that wide, diverse audiences can access and enjoy all films, and so that disabled filmmakers, crew, and participants can fully participate in documentary filmmaking.”
