Film Event Accessibility Scorecard Toolkit
How To Use This Toolkit
FWD-Doc has prepared this toolkit for those events signed-up to receive data related to their event from Film Event Accessibility Scorecard responses. As events, it means you get real feedback that recognizes your excellence in accessibility and tangible ways to improve accessibility based on the experiences of real attendees.
Promoting the Scorecard as part of your event …
Shows to your attendees, sponsors and partners that your event cares about accessibility
Encourages people to pay attention to accessibility features and provide feedback for events
Helps to establish accessibility as an essential thing events should pay attention to, and not an afterthought

Social Media Posts
This is YOUR chance to show to your audiences why event accessibility matters to YOUR event and organization. How does it support or connect to your values or mission? Let them know why this is important, how you use the data (or plan to), showcase changes you’ve made, highlight positive responses.
We encourage you to adapt the copy to better fit your branding and voice. You can even design your own graphics, just be sure to add one of the Laurels (example: a post about accessibility at your event → add Scorecard laurel to graphic or use #FilmEventAccessibilityScorecard in caption)
Suggested Schedule
Before your event → Post beforehand so 1) attendees can keep the Scorecard in mind as they attend your event, and 2) audiences can see that you’re actively paying attention to accessibility.
Example: If you make a post about accessibility offerings at your event, add the Scorecard laurel to graphic or use #FilmEventAccessibilityScorecard in caption
After your event → Encourage attendees to submit a response via email and social media reminders
Where to use it:
